Varun Chakraborty gave a ball after the umpire indicated a dead ball. Patam Nisanka broke it directly into the hands of Exer Patel, but the all -rounder made it up over the rope for six. However, the ball was considered illegal as the umpire canceled the delivery.

The umpire rejected six of Patham Nisanka with a dead-ball call
Chasing India’s target of 203 runs, Lankan batsmen made a brilliant start to their innings after opener Kusal Mendis’ initial dismissal. However, Patam Nisanka probably chose the match to showcase his immense talent in the Super -4 match of the Asia Cup.
In the 10th over of Chase, when Varun Chakraborty bowled for Patham Nisanka, the umpire announced the second ball of the over as an over the dead ball midway through the bowler’s run-up. However, Chakraborty distributed the ball, and Nisanka also hit it directly into the hands of Exer Patel.
However, Exer called the catch wrong and looted it on the fence. Just when he looked disappointed, the umpire rejected six people, claiming that it was a previous dead ball. The umpire called it a dead ball as he was waiting for Abhishek Sharma to leave the ground.
