Prithvi Shaw, one of the batsmen of the Indian national cricket team, is once again in the headlines, but this time it is because of a fun moment with his fiancee Aakriti Agarwal. The Indian opener is currently holidaying in Japan with Aakriti Agarwal.

Prithvi Shaw trolls fiancee Aakriti Aggarwal fiercely in a viral video
A few days ago there was speculation that things are not working out between Prithvi Shaw and Aakriti Aggarwal. But their trip to Japan and sharing happy moments together shows that all is well between them. Aakriti has been posting pictures and videos of her Japan vacation on social media.
In a viral clip, the couple is standing at what looks like a railway station and talking about a signboard written in Japanese. Aakriti says that everything is written in Japanese and there is nothing in English. Prithvi immediately points out that some of the information is actually written in English.
The figure then jokingly says that they are so “dumb” that they cannot understand anything. Prithvi immediately trolled her saying that she should not involve him and should only speak for herself. His quick reaction makes the figure laugh and the video becomes a big hit among fans.

It is noteworthy that in March this year, Prithvi Shaw got engaged to actress and social media influencer Aakriti Aggarwal, 23 years younger to him. The 26-year-old had shared pictures from her engagement on Instagram.
Their relationship first came into limelight last year when Prithvi posted a picture with Aakriti during Ganesh Chaturthi, sparking dating rumors and they later made their relationship official. Prithvi Shaw eyes big comeback from Duleep Trophy 2026
Meanwhile, Prithvi will soon make a comeback to competitive cricket. He has been selected in the West Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2026, which begins on August 23. The team will be led by Ruturaj Gaikwad and will include stars like Shardul Thakur, Sarfaraz and Musheer Khan, Tushar Deshpande and Tanush Kotian.
Prithvi left Mumbai for domestic cricket last year and joined Maharashtra. He was also a part of the Delhi Capitals team in IPL 2026, but he did not get a chance to play a single match. Now he will be hoping to perform well in the Duleep Trophy 2026 to grab the attention of the selectors.
The upcoming Duleep Trophy is scheduled to begin on August 23, with the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru hosting all the matches of the tournament.
