Jacob Bethel further said that Virat’s lifestyle mostly focuses on keeping himself ready to perform for the team. He likes to keep himself prepared for future endeavors through a well-organized lifestyle.
“You know, he’s got a great lifestyle – everything is there – all the arrows are pointing towards high performance … so he gives himself the best chance,” the England batsman said.

After that, the rising English batsman mentioned that he was not the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last season in 2026 when RCB successfully defended their title, but he remained one of the most influential characters inside the team, being a very competitive person who wanted to dominate the opposition team.
“But yeah, he’s a super-competitive guy. You know, he wasn’t the captain when I was there, but he’s a huge leader within the team,” Jacob Bethel said.
“Yeah, and like you said on the field, he’s very lively, but in team meetings, things like that, he shares incredible information, which is — when you’re around people like that, you just want to be a sieve and take in all that information,” he further mentioned in the same video.
