The 39-year-old admitted that criticism and speculation have followed him throughout his international career, but insisted that such talk does not affect his outlook.
“Ever since I made my debut, there has been noise. As long as I’m there, there will be noise. It doesn’t matter to me. What matters is what I do on the field. I want to try to contribute to the team’s success. That’s my full focus.” He added.
