The final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is being held between the England national cricket team and the Australia national cricket team at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. It is the final of the 10th edition of the tournament, which began in 2009. Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry made a record in the match.

Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. Both teams made no changes from their previous wins over West Indies and South Africa respectively in the semi-finals. Ellyse Perry appeared in the T20 World Cup final for the 7th time and became the joint player to play the most T20 World Cup finals. This is a great record for the legendary cricketer.
Ellyse Perry shook hands with former Australian captain
Ellyse Perry is now level with former teammate Alyssa Healy, who also appeared in T20 World Cup finals seven times. This reflects the talent and consistency that East has displayed over the years; Given age and fitness concerns, this could be Perry’s last World Cup.
