Ellyse Perry has once again shown why she is one of Australia’s greatest match-winners. The experienced all-rounder has scored 185 runs in the tournament at an average of 46.25. Perry has also taken four wickets in the tournament at an impressive bowling average of 7.50.
Perry has been the main reason for Australia’s unbeaten journey to the final. She has already won the Player of the Match award three times during the tournament. He played a key role in Australia defeating Bangladesh in Leeds by taking two important wickets and scoring 19 not out.

After a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh Women, Perry scored consecutive half-centuries against Pakistan and India. For these match-winning performances, he won three POTM awards.
Smriti Mandhana shines despite India’s heartbreaking defeat
India’s vice-captain and star opening batsman Smriti Mandhana performed well with the bat in the tournament. She was one of India’s most consistent batsmen, scoring 205 runs at an average of 41.
The left-handed player made a great start to the World Cup by scoring consecutive half-centuries against Pakistan and Netherlands, helping India win both the matches easily.
