Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s much-awaited India debut ends in disappointment

After India’s embarrassing four-wicket defeat to England in the second T20I, legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar shared his thoughts on Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s dismissal and revealed the one shot that cost him his wicket in his much-awaited debut in Manchester.

Vaibhav created history as soon as he entered the field. At the age of 15 years and 99 days, he became the youngest player to make his international debut for India. However, amid the promotion of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Ambati Rayudu urged fans not to forget Sanju Samson.

The young left-hander looked confident from the start despite facing one of the fastest bowling attacks in the world. Jofra Archer tried to trouble him with extra pace, but Vaibhav surprised everyone by hitting him with a huge six. Soon after, he also attacked Josh Tong and hit another emphatic six over long-on.
