Despite his calm demeanor at the crease, Sudarshan admitted that some of the figures in the dressing room can still send a shiver down his spine. Speaking on the Gobinath YouTube channel, the Chennai-born batsman was asked who scares him the most in the team environment. Sudarshan acknowledged Shubman Gill and Gautam Gambhir as pillars of support and independence
Apart from Nehra’s tactical intensity, Sudarshan credits the Indian captain for his rapid maturity Shubman Gill. “The most important thing for a player in a team is freedom of expression. He is a person who says do whatever you want to do and I will support you.”. He is creating an environment where players are more expressive. He is a really nice person who supports the players a lot,” said Sudarshan. With the support of Nehra, Gill and Gambhir, Sudarshan is set to lead India’s top order for years to come.
