Two Olympic venues are still up for grabs

The final spot will be determined through the inaugural ICC Olympic Qualifier in 2027. The eight-team event will feature the highest-ranked eligible nations that have not already qualified and will be provided one last opportunity to reach Los Angeles.
ICC also clarified the eligibility of West Indies. Since the West Indies compete as a combined cricket entity rather than a single National Olympic Committee recognized by the International Olympic Committee, they cannot participate as an Olympic team. If the West Indies earn a spot through the rankings, a separate Caribbean qualifying tournament will determine which individual nations advance to the ICC Olympic Qualifiers.
