Sri Charnani, the young spinner of the Indian women’s cricket team who is ranked No. 1 among bowlers in women’s T20 cricket, has been in good form once again in the ongoing 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup.

In his 4-over spell against Bangladesh tonight, Sri Charani claimed only twice at an economy rate of 5.25. With two wickets, the 21-year-old has achieved another feat, becoming the highest wicket-taker for the Indian women’s cricket team in the T20 World Cup edition.
