Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s special jersey moment goes viral
On Tuesday, June 23, Vaibhav Suryavanshi received the official jersey of the India national cricket team, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India made sure that he will remember this special day forever. In fact, BCCI has shared a special video which shows the teenager receiving the national jersey.
The package was delivered by Team India’s throwdown specialist Raghu, who visited Suryavanshi before handing over the much-awaited parcel at the team hotel. The young cricketer greeted the throwdown specialist respectfully and then carefully opened the box.
Raghu presented the blue jersey of India which every aspiring player dreams of wearing. As soon as he took it out, Vaibhav stopped emotionally and kept looking at the kit for several moments. The teen seemed completely overwhelmed by the moment.
There was no big celebration as the left-hander quietly held the jersey and admired it, as if trying to understand what had just happened. The smile on his face showed how special that moment was. Recently, Ireland unveiled a 14-man squad for the India series.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi left speechless after receiving India’s jersey
After receiving his India jersey, Vaibhav Suryavanshi said that it was one of the most emotional moments of his life, as the dream he had dreamed of since childhood finally came true. The teenage batting sensation also revealed that he was left speechless after seeing India’s kit.
Vaibhav said in the BCCI video, “Words can’t explain it. From the very first day I picked up the bat and went to the cricket field to practice: today that dream came true. The biggest step towards that journey was completed today. I can’t really explain this feeling in words. I felt like a dream. The moment I saw that T-shirt, I couldn’t stop smiling. Sometimes, something happens that you could never have imagined. And when it finally happens So you don’t know how to react. That’s exactly how I felt.”

Clive Lloyd has made a big prediction about Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Meanwhile, West Indies legend Clive Lloyd praised Vaibhav Suryavanshi, saying that the teenager already has the qualities that make him a special talent.
The two-time World Cup-winning captain believes the young Indian batting sensation would have faced a tough challenge against the dangerous West Indies pace attack of his era, which included greats like Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Andy Roberts and Colin Croft.
However, Lloyd feels that the youngster’s keen eye and powerful strokeplay would have allowed him to compete strongly even against such world-class bowlers.
Clive Lloyd told Boria Majumdar, “Well, he will have a very good test (laughs), and we will test his character, his skills etc. He has good vision. He is a good striker of the ball. Yeah, so it will be a good test for him and a good test for our bowlers.
The thing about the bowlers we had was that it was difficult to understand what they were doing: because they all did something different. He did not do the same thing. So, it must have been a great test.”
