S Sreesanth gave open challenge to Harbhajan Singh
During a recent appearance on the Lallantop show, Sreesanth was shown an old picture in which he and Harbhajan were wearing boxing gear. The image drew an emotional reaction from the former India fast bowler, who used the occasion to publicly challenge his former teammate. Sreesanth questioned whether Harbhajan would be willing to face him in a real contest, insisting that he was willing to resolve their differences directly rather than through public comments or advertisements.
“It’s the same scene, do you have the guts? Do you have the guts to get in the ring with me? Can you get the autograph? Can you? I’m asking him. Do you have the guts to get in the ring with me? With these gloves on. This is not acting, I’m smiling. You’re not even smiling, I don’t know what you’re doing. Let’s see. This is an open challenge. I’m in the Bear Knuckle Fight League right now, and I’m one of the main guys. A good friend of mine, who sponsors Conor McGregor’s video, sponsored it, so the promotion has also happened, Bhajji. Old wounds reopened after recent ad
The latest war of words stems from Harbhajan’s recent advertisement, which reportedly took inspiration from the infamous ipl 2008 Event. According to Sreesanth, after the advertisement he has once again broken ties with Harbhajan and has also blocked him. He also alleged that the spinner benefited financially before revisiting the controversy. Casting doubt on his comment, Sreesanth urged Harbhajan to resolve the matter face to face rather than making indirect references.
“I challenge you, Bhajji. If you have so much trouble with the slapping thing and with me and you earn so much… then let me earn too. Come to the ring. I am calling you with all my heart. If we have even a little self-respect, let’s not do advertisements etc. In true sense, for all the Malayalees and all the Sardars, please come. I am waiting.” He said.
