West said, “The interest generated around the trip to India was already high even before his selection. Ticket sales reflected this. Notably, Vaibhav is currently making headlines with his fearless batting for India A in the triangular ODI series in Sri Lanka. After scoring 14 runs against Sri Lanka A in the first match, the 15-year-old scored 44 runs with the help of nine fours in just 22 balls against Afghanistan A.
