PTI quoted Kagiso Rabada as saying, “He has very quick hands and he is fearless at the moment. There is no fear in his body at all and when you are young that’s usually the case. It really thrills me. In the game of cricket, in the IPL, it is great to see that the game is good and really alive.”

However, Rabada was very honest about the hype surrounding Vaibhav, saying that he treats him like any other batsman at the crease and just focuses on getting him out. The Gujarat Titans fast bowler said, “Who else will come and make headlines like that?” I think he is just another batsman and I try to be better than him.

Earlier, Mohammad Siraj had shown tremendous aggression after dismissing the RR opener in Jaipur. Siraj played a quick inning of 36 runs in just 16 balls against Suryavanshi and celebrated loudly after taking the wicket. Earlier, New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson gave an aggressive farewell to the youngster, which showed how badly the fast bowler wants to win the battle against him.
