Mumbai Indians have issued a medical bulletin for their most experienced batsman Rohit Sharma, who has not played in the last three matches for Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians’ performance in this edition of the competition has once again been disappointing. After playing only 7 matches this season, they could only win two games and suffered five defeats.
MI spokesperson gives update on Rohit Sharma’s injury ahead of the match against SRH
The Mumbai Indians star batsman played his last match this season against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He has not been a part of the mix since then and has been ruled out due to injury.
Quinton de Kock was replaced in the team and Rohit has not played in the last three matches for the Challengers. As per the latest updates, he is currently progressing, and his availability will be confirmed by the Mumbai Indians captain at the time of the toss itself.
“He is making steady progress. Any decision on his availability (in the match against SRH) will be taken at the time of the toss tomorrow,” the MI spokesperson said.
