In an Instagram post of the former cricketer, a cricket fan, in a comment, has expressed his desire to see the legend as the bowling coach of KKR. Lee replied.
After a stint with Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), Brett Lee joined KKR ahead of the 2011 season. He played for the team until the 2013 season. During this period, he played 25 matches for Kolkata and took 16 wickets with an economy rate of over seven.
After Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), KKR is one of the most successful teams in IPL history with three titles. The third was claimed for 2024. In 2025, they also failed to qualify for the playoffs, and in the current season, another report card with poor grades is expected.
