Former Team India fast bowler Varun Aaron shared an important update about the injury of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fast bowler Omkar Tarmale after the win over Rajasthan Royals (RR). Aaron praised the young fast bowler’s strong ability and confirmed that a minor injury has kept him out of action in the tournament.
Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a 57-run win over Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday, April 13. Captain Ishan Kishan led from the front in the recent match, and led the Hyderabad team to their second win of the season with a powerful and good innings.

Prafulla Hinz beats RR with historic powerplay spell
Prafulla Hinz bowled a sensational spell in the powerplay, breaking down the Rajasthan Royals batting lineup early. The 24-year-old fast bowler dismissed 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for a golden duck with a sharp bouncer as the young batsman failed to handle the pace and gave away a simple catch.
This fast bowler from Vidarbha created history by becoming the first bowler to take three wickets in the opening over of the tournament. He dismissed Suryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Luan-Dre Pretorius in the opening overs. Later the fast bowler took the fourth wicket by dismissing captain Riyan Parag.
Saqib Hussain continued the pressure by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal and demolished the lower order. The debutant pair took eight wickets for 58 runs, as Rajasthan Royals were all out for 159 runs in the 19th over.
Sunrisers Hyderabad score 216 runs after strong recovery despite initial setbacks
Sunrisers Hyderabad recovered well after the initial shock as Abhishek Sharma was out for a golden duck. Heinrich Klaasen scored 40 runs in 26 balls, while Nitish Kumar Reddy added 28 runs in 13 balls. Salil Arora remained unbeaten on 24 runs and helped the team score a strong score of 216 runs.
Jofra Archer took two wickets, while Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande and Ryan Parag took one wicket each. However, exceptional bowling performances from Prafulla Hinge and Saqib Hussain made the difference and helped Sunrisers Hyderabad achieve a crucial win.
With this 57-run win, Rajasthan Royals’ unbeaten streak in the tournament ended. Sunrisers Hyderabad moved up to fifth place with two wins from five matches, while Rajasthan Royals remain on top despite suffering their first defeat of the season.
