For some reason, BCCI has made a change in the original schedule of the IPL 2026 season, according to which the venues of the CSK vs GT matches have been swapped this season. The board has made extensive changes in the revised schedule.
Before the start of IPL, many problems were faced in the announcement of IPL schedule. Hence BCCI decided to start with announcing the schedule of the first 20 matches, while Devjit Saikia had mentioned that the remaining schedule will be announced after the announcement of election dates in several states of India.
After the elections of many states were announced, BCCI considered those games and the schedule was announced accordingly. However, once again due to political interference the original schedule has been changed.
