Indian legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will make a comeback in ODIs for the Indian team. The two Indian legends, who have played only two formats for India, will be preparing for the ICC ODI World Cup 2027, which will probably be the last ICC tournament for both the legends before they bid goodbye to international cricket.
Indian legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from T20I after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, when India ended a World Cup drought of over a decade. He also retired from the longest format of the game ahead of the start of the WTC 2025 cycle for India.
Having already retired from both these formats, the two Indian legends have turned their focus to ODI cricket. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to play for India in the Australia series and have since played against opponents such as South Africa and New Zealand.
