Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)’s bowling problems continue to worsen as star fast bowler Harshit Rana is now out of IPL 2026 due to injury, which has ruled him out of India’s victorious campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup.
India fast bowler Harshit Rana has been ruled out of India’s ICC T20 World Cup squad after suffering a serious injury during a practice match ahead of the ICC tournament. He was replaced by Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj, who won the T20 World Cup for the second time in his career.

Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana’s availability was already a major concern for the 2024 champions; Now it is almost confirmed that he will not be a part of their team for the upcoming edition of the competition. This has been confirmed by the report of TOI reporter Sahil Malhotra.
However, the Kolkata Knight Riders management is yet to make any formal announcement on his replacement and may consider their other Indian fast bowlers during this difficult phase.
