Another set of encouraging updates has come as several batsmen of Team India, including Ishan Kishan, have made strides in the ICC rankings for the men’s T20 International format following their T20 World Cup 2026 victory. The International Cricket Council revised the T20I rankings on 11 March, with four Indian batsmen in the top 10.
Due to previous stormy innings, Abhishek Shamra continues to top the charts for batsmen in the Twenty20 format, while Ishan has moved up a few steps to occupy the second position of the rankings, just behind Kishan Sharma. The other two Indian batsmen in the top ten ICC T20I batsman rankings are Tilak Verma and Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav.
Rashid Khan overtakes Varun Chakravarthy in ICC men’s T20I bowlers’ rankings
Varun Chakravarthy was shocked as Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan regained the first position in the ICC men’s T20I bowlers’ rankings, overtaking the Indian spinner who had a tough time during the T20 World Cup 2026. Chakraborty has slipped to second place in the points table.
