Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 final between India and New Zealand in Ahmedabad on March 8, a Kiwi home star stunned the entire cricket world on Sunday. Brett Randall created magic that was never seen in the long history of first-class cricket.
The fast bowler has created a world record that had remained untouched for more than two centuries for the Central Districts cricket team against the Northern Districts cricket team in the Plunket Shield clash at McLean Park on Sunday.
New Zealand’s Brett Randall shocked the cricket world by taking a never seen before 5 wickets.
He destroyed the Northern Districts batting line-up in a matter of minutes and became the first bowler in the game of cricket to take five wickets in five balls in first-class cricket.
