Kaif has emphasized that if the team management decides to rest the young opening batsman, then there could be a surprise entry of explosive batsman Rinku Singh in the playing eleven.

And now Kaif openly said that the shortest format allows teams to take bold decisions, especially in knockout matches. He explained how West Indies had recently taken a similar step by changing their opening combination and that decision helped them bring new energy to the lineup.

“India can give a break to Abhishek Sharma. He has played a lot of matches now. There is no harm in making changes. You can make changes in the shortest format,” Abhishek Sharma said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
