Former Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan made an explosive allegation claiming that the Indian cricket team is getting the support of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Junaid Khan has made shocking claims through a video.

The former international cricketer believes that to help Team India, ICC is providing them flat tracks, so that the batsmen can score runs easily. Khan’s allegations came ahead of India’s crucial match with West Indies.

Team India was on the verge of being out of T20 World Cup 2026.

Team India was in a very challenging situation after losing to South Africa in its first match of Super 8 in Ahmedabad. The Proteas suffered a 76-run loss, pushing the Men in Blue to the brink of elimination.

Suryakumar Yadav and his boys kept their hopes of reaching the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2026 alive by defeating Zimbabwe in Chennai. On 26 February, India made a huge score of 256 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs, which was enough to defeat Zimbabwe. So far, this was India’s best batting performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026, and one of the best considering other teams in the competition.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan has made an explosive claim involving ICC and Team India.

If India continues the same performance with the bat, then West Indies bowlers will have to face a lot of trouble in Kolkata on March 1. The nature of the Eden Gardens pitch for the upcoming India vs West Indies match is not known yet. If Junaid Khan’s claims are to be believed then the surface may be suitable for batting.

Junaid Khan said in a video post, “Super 8 matches are no fun at all. These are one-sided matches. In the beginning, there was an ICC programme. Wickets were made by ICC people. But from today’s matches it has become clear that the wickets will be made as per the needs of the Indian team. The first match between South Africa and West Indies was also one-sided.”

“But the wickets were still better. The match between Zimbabwe and India was made for India because they are used to these kind of wickets,” he said.

The upcoming match will be another example of victory for the Indian cricket team. The equation is very clear – the team that wins will enter the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2026.

Eden Gardens has hosted some high-scoring matches in the tournament. On February 9, 2026, Scotland scored 207 for 4 to win against Italy. On February 16, 2026, against Italy, England again scored 202 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
