Warm-up video of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan
It all started when a video of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan’s unusual warm-up routine went viral on social media platforms. In the viral clip, the former Pakistan captain was seen doing strange stretches with rhythmic hip swings and awkward hand movements.
This act divided many people, with many fans mocking and trolling Babar and Rizwan. Recently, Indian footballer Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and his teammates recreated the antics on Instagram and jokingly captioned it, “Inspired by true events.”

Even India fast bowler Deepak Chahar joined the trend, he made fun of the Pakistani stars during his training session and he shared a video on his social media handle. Later, Babar trolled himself by posting a video where he copied his “crazy” warm-up moves.
Suryakumar Yadav also joined the fun and made fun of Babar-Rizwan
Now, the trolling reached its peak when Suryakumar Yadav’s anger erupted during India’s training ahead of the Super 8 clash against South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 22. The stylish Indian batsman performed hilarious squats imitating Babar and Rizwan’s strange stretching routine but maintained a serious face, making it even funnier.
Interestingly, when the Indian captain was making fun of the Pakistani stars, players like Rinku Singh and Arshdeep Singh around Suryakumar Yadav were not even smiling. Fans couldn’t stop sharing the clip of Suryakumar’s deadpan mimicry, and called it the highlight of India’s pre-match practice.
Before the Super 8 round, Mohammad Kaif raised questions on the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has raised questions on the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. He believes that having several left-handers in the top order could make it easier for the opponent to plan their bowling in the Super 8 round of the tournament.
Kaif also highlighted the concerns over Hardik Pandya batting at No. 5. Traditionally, Hardik has batted lower down the order, and moving him up could create new challenges for both him and the team.

Why is Hardik Pandya batting at number 5?
Kaif said in a video on his YouTube channel, “Why is Hardik Pandya coming in at number five? Hardik Pandya doesn’t usually bat at number five. In Delhi, he played at number five against Namibia because there were a lot of left-handers there. So, because of the left-right combination, he had to move up in the order to balance the left- and right-handers. This is an issue because with so many left-handers, planning for the opposition team “It becomes a little easier.”
The Indian all-rounder has scored 87 runs in four matches so far in the tournament at an average of 21.75 and a strike rate of 155.35. With the Super 8 stage approaching, Kaif feels India will need smart changes and flexible strategies to remain unbeaten and maintain their momentum.
