Only a few hours are left before the 10th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. This year, the tournament will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka and will begin on February 7.
A day before the opening of the 2026 T20 World Cup, the International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the full panel of commentators. The panel of commentators includes star voices, former cricketers and active cricketers. A total of 40 commentators will be deployed for the major tournaments.
Renowned commentators Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop will lead the panel with their iconic voices. Some former T20 World Cup winners like Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa and Carlos Brathwaite will be seen in the commentary box during the 55-match tournament.
Temba Bavuma, an active cricketer under whose leadership South Africa won the last edition of the World Test Championship by defeating Australia in the final, will also be present as a commentator during the T20 World Cup.

“Current player and reigning ICC World Test Championship-winning captain Temba Bavuma will be heard on commentary, while 2014 T20 World Cup winner Angelo Mathews also joins the impressive list of commentators who will be used across 55 matches of the tournament,” the ICC said in its official press release.
Apart from the matches, there will be a pre-match show, an innings interval programme, a post-match finale and daily highlights to keep the audience engaged with the tournament.
“The ICC.TV broadcast will include a pre-match show, innings interval programme, post-match wrap-up and daily highlights show, showcasing all the excitement from the entire tournament leading up to the knockout stage and the final on 8 March,” the ICC further said on 6 February.

The tournament is all set to start from tomorrow. will be a total of 3 matches on the opening day of the tournament. The opening match of the competition will be between Pakistan and the Netherlands, followed by the West Indies vs Scotland match, and then, in the evening, defending champions India take on the US.
