Former cricketers from England and Australia have united against Will Jack and reprimanded him after his embarrassing dismissal in the second innings of the Sydney Test. Will Jacks has had very little contribution in the series and his selection as England’s frontline spinner is in itself a reflection of Brendon McCullum’s poor team tactics.
The Ashes tour of Australia has not been one of the best tournaments for the English team in recent years. Not only have they lost the first three matches and managed only a lucky win in the fourth, but they have also been dominated and humiliated by the Australian team.
One of the main reasons for England’s failure was their overly aggressive batting approach and the inability of any batsman to score runs consistently. Talking about consistency, England batting all-rounder Will Jacks has performed very poorly for the Three Lions and has now been criticized for his no-nonsense approach. ,
Will Jacques was out in terrible fashion off the bowling of Beau Webster.
In the last match of the Ashes series, England probably managed to give their best performance with the bat. Adapting to the conditions, the English players were eventually able to regain some of their impressive form. Harry Brook played well in both innings, while Joe Root scored his second century of the series, and young Jacob Bethel managed to score his maiden first-class century here.
However, despite Bethel’s century, the English innings faltered due to the dismissal of vice-captain Harry Brook. Ben Stokes once pointed out that England had failed to sustain high-pressure moments when they were in the driving seat in this series, and this was evident at the SCG.
Will Jacques was sent up to bat at number one. 6; However, the batsman was out after two balls as he edged one man out in the off in an attempt to reduce the off-spin of Beau Webster. Jamie Smith once again got the start but failed to convert it and captain Ben Stokes was also out soon after with just one run.
Australian and English giants join forces to embarrass Jack after his dreadful performance
After Jack’s dismissal in one of the most horrific ways, he is fired with hostile criticism. Will Jacques was probably promoted with the plan to speed up the innings, and so, his vision is unquestionable, but since that failed, it now looks like there’s a complete massacre going on.
Alex Hartley immediately became aggressive after Jack’s dismissal and bluntly stated, “I’ve seen some stupidity in this series. This is right up there.”

Former England great Kevin Pietersen also launched a scathing attack on the batsman as he claimed that he woke up to see Jack getting out and was completely disappointed. However, the great England player also proudly praised the innings of Jacob Bethel.
I woke up and saw Jack out – wow
I’ve had a closer look at Bethel over the past hour or so – wow ↓

Ricky Ponting questioned Will Jacks as to how he went back to the English dressing room after a dreadful performance at such a crucial juncture of the game.

Australia on the verge of another victory in the Ashes
The Australian team is moving towards another big win in the Ashes series. They had already managed to secure the title with three consecutive wins, but then failed to maintain the winning streak at the MCG, a pitch which was later deemed unsatisfactory to play on.
Steve Smith, who led Australia to two out of three wins in this Ashes, scored a century along with opener Travis Head, who completed 500 runs in this series with his third century. England are on the verge of getting bowled out with a lead of more than 119 runs.
However, the only ray of hope remains in the form of centurion Jacob Bethel, who remains unbeaten on 142 runs on the fourth day.
