Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was caught in an awkward situation after Christmas dinner in Mumbai, but his reaction went viral on social media platforms. Pandya was coming out of a restaurant with his girlfriend Mahika Sharma when a fan approached him for a selfie and started behaving rudely when he refused.
The all-rounder was last seen in action during the recent three-match T20 series against South Africa. Pandya played a key role in India’s 3-1 win over the Proteas. He scored 142 runs at an average of 71 and a strike rate of 186.84, which included two half-centuries. The fast bowler also took three wickets in four innings.

Due to security and huge crowd it became difficult for everyone to get closer. A fan, who could not reach him, became angry and made derogatory comments. However, the all-rounder remained calm and kept going.
It was unclear whether he heard the comment or chose to ignore it. The video of that moment later went viral on social media, with many praising Pandya for remaining calm and handling the situation with maturity. The incident also showed how difficult it can be for players to deal with constant public attention.

Hardik Pandya made a big impact in the T20 series and received praise from the opposition team as well. After the final match in Ahmedabad, South Africa coach Shukri Conrad said that Pandya should have been the player of the series. He believes that Pandya was the main difference between the two teams throughout the series.
In the final T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Pandya scored 63 runs off just 25 balls, which included five fours and five sixes. His innings helped India score more than 215 runs. He scored a half-century in just 15 balls, which is the second fastest half-century for India.
