Indian Under-19 captain Ayush Mhatre was seen in anger as the entire Pakistan Under-19 team pounced on him and gave him a rude send-off after Ali Raza gave India the first breakthrough.
India Under-19 had won the last time they faced Pakistan Under-19 in an ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup group-stage match recently. However, the Pakistan team made it big when it mattered most, and they defeated the Men in Blue to win the title.
During the historic win, there were several heated clashes between the young players of Pakistan and some of the Indian players like captain Ayush Mhatre and young talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Ayush Mhatre abused the Pakistan team after being dismissed by all the eleven players.
Ayush Mhatre was made the captain of the India men’s under-19 team and led them to the final of the competition. However, despite explosive form in domestic cricket, the young star failed to contribute well with the bat in this Asia Cup.
The final match of the tournament was an occasion when the team needed their captain to lead from the front as they chased a mammoth score of 348. However, the Mumbai batsman struggled in the first few balls and then played a good drive upwards but was caught in the throat of mid-off in an attempt to clear the infield.
Ali Raza took the first Indian wicket, and he was the Indian captain. Pakistan cricketers celebrated with some degree of aggression as all the XI players gave a poor farewell to Ayush Mhatre. Mhatre became angry and came back abusing the Pakistan cricketers. An unpleasant incident caught on camera can be seen in the video below.

India faced a shameful defeat in the Under-19 Asia Cup final
The Indian team had to face a shameful defeat against the Pakistan team in the Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup. India not only lost the game and the title, but they also lost their prestige.
The promising bowling lineup, which had been convincing throughout the tournament, was struggling to maintain its form, and one of the Pakistani batsmen, Samir Minhas, single-handedly destroyed the bowling lineup.
Furthermore, the batting lineup consisting of batsmen Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Aaron George and Abhigyan Kundu impressed with their dominance throughout the tournament but failed to put up a fight against the huge target put up by Pakistan. India lost big by 191 runs.
Mohsin Naqvi got relief from controversies after Pakistan’s victory
Before the start of the Indian innings, reports claimed that Mohsin Naqvi had flown to Dubai to watch the final match and be a part of the post-match presentation ceremony. There was some speculation that if India won the match, there would once again be controversy over the trophy not being handed over to the ACC president, who is also the PCB chief and Pakistan’s interior minister.
However, Mohsin Naqvi escaped controversy as well as humiliation as Pakistan won the match and will be overjoyed at the presentation ceremony, just like he was during the ACC Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup last month.
