Virat Kohli is ready for India’s comeback in the ODI series against New Zealand
Talking about cricket, Virat is set to return to action in the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, starting from January 11 in Vadodara. He will be in great form in the series after his impressive performance against South Africa in the 50-over format.
Kohli scored 302 runs in three innings in that series at an average of 151, with scores of 135, 102 and 65 not out. His performance earned him the Player of the Series award and took him to second place in the ICC ODI batting rankings behind Rohit Sharma.
Since both Kohli and Rohit are currently active in limited-overs international formats, the importance of each series increases as they look towards the 2027 World Cup. Meanwhile, India are in the middle of the home T20 series against South Africa and have taken a 2-1 lead after three matches.
