Indian star Hardik Pandya missed the entire Australian tour as well as the Asia Cup final due to a quadriceps injury, keeping him out of cricket for over a month. However, according to the latest revelations, his return before the South Africa tour has also turned sour.
India are currently hosting the defending champions of the WTC for a two-match series in the longest format of the game. After this there will be ODI and T20 series between the two teams.
This will be the first time that the two finalists of the T20 World Cup 2024 will face each other after the famous win in the Caribbean.

The veteran and one of the most experienced stars of India’s T20I team, Hardik Pandya has recently been struggling with injury ahead of some of the most important games.
This was the reason given by the Indian head coach and the Indian selectors for not choosing Rohit Sharma as captain after his retirement.
India’s T20 World Cup hero missed the final of the Asia Cup 2025 as he suffered a quadriceps injury during India’s final group-stage clash against Sri Lanka.
He missed the Australia tour and was undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Center of Excellence and was expected to return before November 30.
However, it seems that the all-rounder probably won’t be back before the series and is likely to miss it, as claimed by some reports from News24 editor Vaibhav Bhola.
