Abhishek Sharma’s sister loves to make fun of Shubman Gill, Harshit Rana with hateful comments in reel

Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma’s sister has been criticized for liking a social media post criticizing his fellow opener Shubman Gill and praising the Indian left-handed batsman. This came after a brilliant innings from Abhishek Sharma at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Although other Indian batsmen could not perform well in the T20I series against Australia, Abhishek Sharma looked promising with the bat. He scored 140+ runs with the help of a brilliant 68 runs in the second T20 match against the Australian team at MCG.

A video was seen on Instagram in which Shubman Gill and Harshit Rana were criticized and Abhishek Sharma was praised for his fearless batting regardless of the pitch conditions.

“The only player who didn’t care about the difficult pitches was Abhishek Sharma. Even when we were reduced to 40/4 in the power play, Abhishek Sharma was hitting the ball out of the stadium.”

“On a pitch where nine of India’s batsmen were out on single-digit scores, Abhishek Sharma played only one dot ball until he completed his half-century. Some people had earlier said that Abhishek Sharma would fail in Australian conditions, but he has proved them all wrong with his batting.”

“Instead, when Harshit Rana came to bat, the momentum of the Indian innings was derailed. The innings became very slow, otherwise Abhishek could have single-handedly taken India past 150.”

“There is a real conflict between coaching and captaincy. They should have given a clear message that Abhishek should have been given more strikes, but this team only wants to score runs with the player who has a good relationship with the coach,” he said, taking a direct dig at Rana and also pointing towards Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav. The coach and captain also did not get respite from facing the heat.

A Twitter user recently pointed out that Abhishek Sharma’s sister Komal Sharma liked an Instagram post that praised her brother but also shamed Shubman Gill and Harshit Rana. The Indian head coach and captain were also directly attacked in the video.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has consistently been in the mix-up for a T20I spot

India have consistently kept Yashasvi Jaiswal in the mix of things; However, Shubman Gill was handed the opening role as well as the vice-captaincy of the team. It was also believed that Gill would someday become the next captain of India in place of Suryakumar Yadav.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, known for his explosiveness at the top of the order, will be devastating if paired with Abhishek Sharma, who is an equally aggressive batsman. This pair should be brought citing the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.
