The young wicketkeeper-batsman’s unbeaten 127-run knock helped India A tighten their grip on the four-day unofficial Test and were in complete control of the game by the end of the third day.

Jurel and Harsh Dubey saved India A from a difficult situation against South Africa by making a huge partnership of 184 runs for the sixth wicket. A. Dubey also showed great maturity throughout his innings in Bengaluru and played an excellent inning of 84 runs.

India A declared its innings at 382 runs for seven wickets and gave South Africa A a target of 417 runs. When South Africa A started the chase, openers Lesego Senokwane and Jordan Harman managed to survive a few test overs before stumps.

As per the circumstances, India A is in complete control of the match. South Africa still needs more than 180 runs to defeat the hosts and level the ongoing two-match unofficial Test series. Prasidh Krishna and Harsh Dubey got one wicket each and the Proteas have enough time and overs to turn the tables.
