Everyone wants to do good for the country and win the World Cup – Harmanpreet Kaur
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Harmanpreet said that there is a positive atmosphere in the Indian camp and the players want to win the World Cup for the country.
“The semi-final was a very pressing and very intense game. After that, recovery was something we all paid more attention to, because we were as fresh as we were mentally. [for the final] It would be that much better. We’ve been working hard for so many years… so skill-wise we know we’ve done a lot. Now, it is just about keeping ourselves fresh for tomorrow. “Recovery is something we all talk about and everyone is really taking it very seriously and hopefully tomorrow we will feel fresh for the main game,” Harmanpreet said.
“As a team, we didn’t waver even once after losing three big matches. Even after that, everyone was together and we were all saying that we still have a great chance to reach the final. That positive mindset has brought us here. The mindset of our team is so positive and everyone wants to do well for the country and win the World Cup.”
