India national cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir was involved in an animated conversation with captain Suryakumar Yadav after the end of the second T20 match of the five-match series against the Australia national cricket team.
Team Australia and Team India faced each other at the prestigious Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday, October 31 and after a thrilling battle, the hosts won by 4 wickets.

India had lost the ODI series on the Australia tour after losing two consecutive matches and a win in the last game meant the series ended with a score of 2–1.
After that, the action moved to the T20I series – the format in which India are strongest at the moment. After a brilliant start for India in batting, the first match in Canberra was washed out due to rain.
Then, in the second T20I, India were invited to bat first in the match and they performed dreadfully with the bat. Abhishek Sharma was the only Indian batsman who looked comfortable in the middle and scored 68 runs off 37 balls. Harshit Rana also contributed 35 runs, taking India’s score to 125 runs.
Josh Hazlewood was the chief architect of the destruction as he recorded figures of 3/13 in four overs bowled with the new ball.
Indian bowlers performed well while defending the target and took wickets at regular intervals. Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakraborty took two wickets each, but Australia completed the chase with 40 balls remaining.
India head coach Gautam Gambhir was not happy after Australia won the match easily. He was seen having an animated conversation with Suryakumar Yadav, who was also accompanied by Morne Morkel and Ryan ten Doeschate.
It seemed as if Gambhir was seen expressing his disappointment over something and Suryakumar Yadav was seen giving some clarification to his coach.

The ball seems to be coming out well at the moment – Josh Hazlewood
Josh Hazlewood, who won the Player of the Match award for figures of 3/13, said he has made just minor changes to his bowling and everything else has remained the same. He elaborated:
“The ball seems to be coming out well at the moment, whatever format I’m in and playing. So, there’s not much change needed on a wicket like this – there’s enough for all the fast bowlers out there. It’s all about putting the ball in the right area, not trying too hard, and see what happens.
“(Have you done anything different this summer?) Not much different really. Minor changes here and there, as always, everything is getting better. I think playing cricket consistently has helped – we’ve been playing a few matches in the North, then in New Zealand, now here, in the winter in the West Indies… I’m just going from one series to the next, playing most of the games, taking rest when needed. Everything feels in a good place and ready to go.
Josh Hazlewood further said that Australia is building a solid unit of fast bowlers who will serve the team for a long time. He said:
“(Strong bowling unit) Absolutely. There’s no better place to learn against a high-quality team, in front of 80-thousand people. I’m really happy with what I’ve seen from the other end in the last few matches – even in the one-dayers, Bart has done brilliantly. Nath does his job whenever he comes on, puts in 100% and bowls some very tough overs. We’re building a good group of fast bowlers who are coming in. Will fight for places in future.”
