Team India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj gave fans an unexpected moment of laughter during the second match of the three-match ODI series against Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, October 23. Siraj accidentally lost his pants while fielding on the boundary line, leaving commentators and fans laughing.

The Mitchell Marsh-led team is chasing the target of 265 runs to seal the series win over India. They are currently in a comfortable position to claim victory. Earlier, opener Rohit Sharma and vice-captain Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries as Shubman Gill’s side posted a total of 264/9 in the allotted 50 overs.

This moment happened on the third ball of the 38th over of Australia’s innings. Mohammad Siraj presented a funny moment while fielding near the boundary. As he jumped to stop the ball from reaching the ropes, his pants got caught awkwardly and slipped down.

Invited to bat first, India managed to score 164/9 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma scored the maximum 73 runs in 97 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. Shreyas Iyer (61 runs out of 77), Axar Patel (44 runs out of 41) and Harshit Rana (24* out of 18) made useful contributions for the visiting team.

For Australia, Adam Zampa was the best bowler with four wickets for 60 runs, while Xavier Bartlett and Mitchell Starc took three and two wickets respectively.

Earlier in the series, Australia took a 1-0 lead after winning the opening match in Perth by seven wickets under the DLS method. The third and final ODI is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
