The Asia Cup 2025 should have been a celebration of cricket, but it has turned into one of the most dramatic tournaments in history, which is full of controversies, politics and strength struggles. India won the title after defeating Pakistan by five wickets in an exciting final, but Jeet has been overshadled by a series of shocking events on both the field and outside.
The Pakistan cricket team had made some big plans that attracted the attention of the whole world and showed their true colors. If they do what they wanted, it would have proved that Pakistan has officially been involved in terrorist activity, including Pahalgam attacks earlier this year.
Asia Cup 2025 turned into a fully developed political drama
Initially, the Indian team refused to join hands with Pakistan players and did the same in the entire tournament due to operation vermilion, but then men in Green crossed the border with their gun-firing and airplane-incident gestures.

Connecting the controversy, men in Blue refused to take the Asia Cup Trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi, who also serve as the internal minister of Pakistan. Even a few days after the final, the trophy is still sitting in Dubai.
Mohsin Naqvi refused to hand over it to the Indian cricket team, which insisted that Captain Suryakumar Yadav should come to his office to gather personally. This deadlock has now divided ACC. Sri Lanka has biased with India, Bangladesh has aligned with Pakistan, and Afghanistan is allegedly changing the sides based on the situation.
Pakistan had planned a political statement on Kashmir, as they won the Asia Cup 2025
Adding fuel to the fire, it is being said that the Pakistan cricket team had allegedly planned a political statement exposing “Azad Kashmir”, if they had won the final against India, as according to Revsports journalist Rohit Juglan.
A source close to the team said that he had also prepared a specially printed T-shirt highlighting Azad Kashmir, which was aimed at the Grand Stage during the ceremony.

The plan was not just about a T-shirt, but the team was allegedly ready to mention the Pakistan Air Force as part of the message during the ceremony, to ensure that their statement would draw attention beyond the cricket field.
Pakistan’s “Azad Kashmir” scheme flopped by India
It is being said that Kashmir was a certain part of his post -match strategy. With India winning the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 28 September, Pakistan’s plan was never physical, but shows how they wanted to clean their intentions against India.
A source close to the Pakistan cricket team, who was part of the conversation with the players, told Revsports: “The Pakistan team had planned to make a statement about Azad Kashmir, if they had won in the Asia Cup 2025 finals, they also published a special T-shirt to win their Azad Kashmir Mission. Confirmed to mention.”
