Virat Kohli I know how to incite me: Ishant Sharma
But after Virat Kohli, Ishant’s frustration was boiled that Chandimal chased her in the Indian dressing room in all ways when she was changing her shoes. But he put his anger in the game, took three major wickets and celebrated fiercely in the batsmen’s faces.
Former Indian pacers said, “Virat, I know how I was instigated. I was unknown. When Virat told me, ‘He came to you, and the tune was not crushed?”
Then he saw me the clip where Chandimal gave me elbow. And I swear, I went mad. I am usually not that aggressive, but that day, I have to mold in protective mode. By then, my match fee had already been cut. Then I went out to bowl, dismissed three batsmen, and celebrated their face. And was banned. ,

Virat Kohli fired Ishant Sharma, ICC banned India’s bowler
However, the ICC took strict action, as both Isant and Chandiml got a one-match ban, while Prasad and Lahiru Thirimain were fined half of their match fees. The suspension points from Ishant’s ban also dropped him out of India’s first test against South Africa in Mohali that year.
Later, Virat Kohli reflected on the fiery incident and felt that it works perfectly in India’s favor. This struggle fired Ishant at the right time only, changed its aggression in a weapon for the team. In the second innings, Ishant’s magic was tireless as he bowled 19 overs without removing a single limit. Such pressure completely ignored the Sri Lankan batsmen.
