Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf attracted a lot of attention to his on-field behavior during the Super Four match against India at the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Stadium. Rauf created controversial “6–0” and “fighter jet” gestures, and Indian fans called him “disgusting” and “disabled”.

Rauf taunted ‘Kohli, Kohli’ during Asia Cup Clash

During the recent match, Indian fans teased Haris Rauf, who were fielding near the border. The mob repeatedly chanting “Kohli, Kohli”. He reminded the 2022 T20 World Cup fast bowler when Virat Kohli hit him for a back-to-back six in Melbourne.

After the match, Haris Rauf’s wife shared an Instagram story saying, “The game lost but won the battle!” In particular, Pakistan suffered a continuous defeat against India in the ongoing Asia Cup. Pakistan has not defeated India in the format of any white ball since the T20 World Cup 2022.

The “6-0” reference is associated with Pakistan’s baseless claims that they shot six Indian fighter jets during the four-day struggle after Operation Sindoor.

The gestures of Rauf were widely seen as an echoing this baseless story. India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. The Indian Army attacked terrorist camps in May 2025 in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).

Pakistan lost six wickets in Super Four Clash

Pakistan scored a total of 171 runs after batting first. He lost speed in the second half and decreased by 15–20 runs. His batsmen showed more determination than the earlier meeting with India.

During the chase, openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill took full control from the beginning. Sharma started with six of the first ball and scored 74 runs in 39 balls, including six fours and five sixes. Gill added 28 balls to 47 runs before he was dismissed.

Despite on-field tension and warm exchange, Sharma’s aggressive innings made it easy to chase. In Blue, men directed India to win six wickets. Suryakumar Yadav’s side will take Bangladesh in his next match, and a win may guide him in the final.
