However, Karthik was not affected by whatever happened. The cricket expert exploded PCB’s behavior, calling it immature and laughter.
He insisted that if Pakistan wanted to take a stand on the ongoing handshahek saga and match referee Andy Pikeroft, he should have been trapped with it instead of retreating after realizing the financial hit.
Even children in kindergarten do not behave like Pakistan nowadays: Murali Karthik
Murali Karthik was told by Cricbuzz: “The only word that I can think right now is’ absolutely childish and crushed.” I think I can’t think of anything else because when you think … if you want to take a stand, please proceed.
He further argued, “Just because when you see, oh, there may be a financial implication, literally on a handshake saga or thus US $ 16 million, I can’t think of anything.”
“Even children in kindergarten do not behave in this way in kindergarten nowadays. Therefore, it is a bit fun, and again, you are holding so many people for ransom without any rhyme or reason.”

Murali Karthik exploded Pakistan for “bargaining” on Asia Cup 2025 drama
The former Indian bowlers further went to compare Pakistan’s attitude to bargaining in a market, where only threatens to return when offering a better deal. Karthik was surprised that an International Cricket Board could behave in this way.
He insisted that it was not about Pakistan alone, but any team acting in this way deserves the same criticism. For him, the tournament, fans, and players did not see any seriousness or dignity by holding hostage on baseless complaints.
Karthik signed this saying, “They are not childish, but it is like bargaining … Oh, 50 rupees, 30 rupees, 20 rupees. Hey, I will go away. So that person calls you,” No, no, sir, take it for 40 rupees, sir. “It is that kind of items.”
Well, the stage is now set for another conflict between India and Pakistan, a rivalry that is never about cricket.
His first meeting in the Asia Cup 2025 won easily with India, but the game was soon forgotten, thanks to the infamous handshek controversy.
On September 21, the Super Four Confliction between two hardcore rivals will be emotionally and politically charged.
