Left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz provided an inadvertent funny moment during India-Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Conflict in Dubai. Pakistan’s bowlers failed to catch a direct return to Tilak Verma with their own bowling in a unilateral competition, and the video quickly went viral on social media.
Pakistan chose to bat first, after maintaining pressure throughout the innings, the Indian bowlers dominated from the beginning. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets for 18 runs in four overs, while Exer Patel and Jasprit Bumrah pasted each with two wickets. Pakistan can manage only 127/9 in its 20 overs.

Tilak failed to capitalize on the lifeline. He added only one run after the drop catch and was rejected in the next over. The left -handed batsman scored 31 off 31 balls, including two fours and one six.
India’s bowlers limit Pakistan to 127/9 in 20 overs
Earlier, Hardik Pandya rejected Sam Ayub For a duck in the first over. He later took a good catch to help Bumrah, who was detected in removing Mohammad Haris in the second over. Initial successes set the tone, leaving Pakistan batsmen under pressure.
The spinners then banned Pakistan’s scoring opportunities. Kuldeep Yadav was a bowlers’ pick for men in blue. Exer Patel pasted with 2/18, while Varun Chakarwardi added 1/24.
Spin trio bowled as 40 dot balls. The Jasprit Bumrah ended with 2/28 figures, including 15 dot delivery. Sahibzada Farhan was the top scorer for Pakistan with 40 runs.
Shaheen Afridi brought some spark in Pakistan’s innings in the final overs. The left -handed batsman broke an unbeaten 33 off just 16 balls, including four sixes. His late cameo brought Pakistan to a total of 127/9, which was allotted 20 overs.
