When the government has given permission, what is the problem? – Madan Lal
Speaking to ANI, former cricketer Madan Lal questioned the integrity of Indian players to play against Pakistan and said that the government has given permission. He explained in detail:
“Whenever there is a match between India and Pakistan, politics begins. When the government has given permission, what is the problem? Secondly, we are hosts.
“The host cannot tell Pakistan. Just as our BCCI had decided that we will not go to Pakistan, Pakistan should think whether they want to play or not. We are hosts, so it is the duty of the host.
“You should give an answer to whatever you have done, as we have given you … but let me tell you one thing: Pakistan is not going to change. Pakistan will remain the same … The match cannot be avoided. So many people are involved in it … whose livelihood depends on it …”
