The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have been forced to make the final-minute changes in the squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series. England have suffered a massive ‘Saqib Mahmood’ shock against Ireland and New Zealand before their white balls.
The English side led by Harry Brooke is scheduled to travel to Ireland for a three -match T20I series, starting from 17 September, setting up on 19 and 21 September with the last two matches at the Malahyide Cricket Club Ground in Malide.
Saqib Mahmood shocked England due to being out of major tourism
After the tour of Ireland, the English side will travel to New Zealand for the three-match T20I and ODI series. The T20I matches between England and Black Caps are scheduled for October 18, 20 and 23, while the three ODI matches will be played on 26 October, 29 and 1 November.

Meanwhile, fast bowler Saqib Mahmood has been dropped from the upcoming Ireland tour, as well as New Zealand’s White-Ball Tour, caused by a knee injury, which allegedly requires minor surgery. Scott Curry of Hampshire has replaced Saqib Mahmood in the T20I squad.
The talented seamor Curry has already gained some international experiences for Scotland by playing three days of international (ODI). Scott will add fresh energy to England’s bowling attack as they prepare for exciting tourism of Ireland and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, England demonstrated to break the record against South Africa in the second T20I, winning the game 146 and defeated the series 1–1. Captain Harry Brook was thrilled by the team’s performance, calling the early partnership between Phil Salat and Jose Butler incredibly.
Even Brooke was surprised when he was close to 300 runs. Brook believes that England’s batting strength gives him the confidence to achieve great heights. He also said that every game is a win match for him, and this is a very good preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

Harry Brook was told by Sky Sports: “I am very lost for words. The way salt and salt [Jos] Butler started the night was incredible. Jose and I was standing out of there when we were fielding and never thought that anyone would get 300. But we have got with the batting lineup, there are many heights that we cannot reach. ,
