Irfan Pathan has shared his preview of an attractive performance between Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah and Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman, praising Pesson’s skills as a bowler.
India will play their much awaited game against Pakistan at the prestigious Dubai International Stadium on 14 September today. Right -handed pacer Bumrah will be one of the players watching in this competition. The game will mark the second game of the Asia Cup 2025 for both teams, both India and Pakistan.

Former Indian all -rounder, Irfan Pathan has previously prepared the competition between Fakhar Zaman and Ika Indian Pesar Jasprit Bumrah. He has said that if Bumrah saves his top speed and abilities, Fakhar can struggle.

“When we saw Bumrah in the last match, he was bowling with control and taking it in. He is very smart and knows how to give himself speed. When you see him playing against Pakistan, he will be seen at a different speed and in a different field.”
“Fakhar Zaman is a player who plays fast and tries to move the speed. So, if Bumrah comes with his A game, I don’t think Fakhar is a chance. But if he can remove that magic, I would like to see that competition between Fakhar Zaman and Kuldip Yadav.”

Jasprit Bumrah was the only frontline pacer playing XI against the UAE of India, and was fatal with his yorker, one of which broke the batsman’s defense to draw the first blood for India. India is expected to have the same combination today.

Bumrah has limited opportunities for convenience against Pakistan, yet in his career throughout the decade, he has played 12 matches for India against hardcore rivals. Bumrah has taken 7 wickets a day and 5 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
