According to a report in the Indian Express, Indian legend Harbhajan Singh may be one of the BCCI office bearrs as the Punjab Association nominated him as cheers for new appointments to several posts in BCCI in the annual general meeting.
Experienced spinners have played in 103 Tests for India and also played in 236 ODI Games. He took 417 Test wickets and 269 wickets in the 50 -over format and was part of the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ICC World Cup winning squads.

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has been appointed by the Punjab Cricket Association for the upcoming BCCI annual general meeting, where a total of five major carriers are to be elected.
The AGM is to be held on 28 September, as former captain Sourav Ganguly, who already played the role since 2019, has again been nominated as a representative of the Cricket Association of Bengal.
Harbhajan Singh, a former member of the Rajya Sabha, was also associated with the Aam Aadmi Party as an advisor to the Punjab Cricket Association and will be his representative to his motherland association.
Members appointed by various state associations for AGM
According to the recent circular sent to all state associations, the time limit for members to file an application to nominate its representatives is 12 September. Candidates can also withdraw their names by 23 September.
The election is to be held on 28 September, while the window for enrollment is selected between 20th and 21 November. Elections have not been held for the last decade, while candidates have been selected through mutual discussions.
The Karnataka State Cricket Association has decided to nominate Raghuram Bhatt as its representative, while the Mumbai Cricket Association has nominated Sanjay Naik. Himachal Pradesh has nominated former IPL president Arun Dhumal, while Rajiv Shukla, President of Interim BCCI and former Vice President will represent the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association.
Jaydev Shah is nominated by the Saurashtra Cricket Association, and Pranava will represent Amin Baroda. Tamil Nadu has nominated his secretary, Re Palani.
