In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, India vs Pakistan match is set to move as a match, as on Thursday (September 11), the Supreme Court refused to list a gene demanding the match.
India and Pakistan are in the same group with UAE and Oman. The match between the two neighbors is scheduled to take place in Dubai on Sunday (14 September).

With a few days before the match, students of four laws led by Urvashi Jain argued through advocates Sneha Rani, Abhishek Verma, and MD Anas Chaudhary that after handling the match after the Pahgam terror attack and operation, Sindoor reduced the sacrifices of national dignity and mistakes of Indian soldiers and citizens.

The petitioners also sought directions for the Swift implementation of the National Sports Government Act, 2025 to regulate such decisions in the future.

Supreme Court vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 matches on India
The Supreme Court has refused to list the PIL immediately and said that the match should go as scheduled. The gene was presented to Justice JK Maheshwari and Vijay Bishnoi.
“The match is on Sunday. Please list it tomorrow,” the lawyer presented to the bench.
In response, the Supreme Court bench said: “Must go on the match.”
