India National Cricket Team T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has placed modern-day great Rohit Sharma as the final role model.
Suryakumar Yadav said that Rohit Sharma has inspired him, and he has learned a lot from the ODI captain after playing under him for 7-8 years.

Suryakumar Yadav will lead India in a major tournament for the first time after assuming leadership with Rohit Sharma last year.
Next to India’s Asia Cup opener, Suryakumar Yadav was interviewed by Sony Sports Network and asked his team to describe in three words, which he replied, “Entertainment, entertainment, entertainment.”
Asked about Leading India at the mega event for the first time, he said that the presence of a wonderful group would make their job easier. Suryakumar Yadav said:
“A lot of veins, good responsibility clearly, but with such an amazing group, with so much talent, I think it’s a good fun.”

The Bharat T20I captain further said that Rohit Sharma has had the biggest impact in shaping the way the team captains. Suryakumar said:
“Look, I have played with Rohit Bhai in franchise cricket for about 8 years or 7-8 years and when he led to India in this format, I was there for about 3-4 years.
“So, I am learning some tricks and tricks from him and obviously, he has been a role model as a leader for India, so yes, learned a lot from him.”
During the same conversation, Suryakumar Yadav was asked about his captaincy style, and he replied that he is very comfortable on the field and tries to create a calm environment around him. He said:
“Sky’s style is very comfortable on the field and always has a good wide smile on the face, no matter what, if you are spending a good time or things are not going in your way, just relax, take a smile and enjoy.”

“I know that a lot of things are going on between the two teams and nations, but when we take the field, there is aggression and everything remains the same.”
Finally, Suryakumar Yadav said that he wants his team to live together despite the results. He said:
“This is not only in the entire Asia Cup, I mean to move forward, I want them to stay together with whatever they are. Sometimes when we win, we are at the top of the moon and we do not win the game, we want to sit back, rest, keep their time, but whatever happens, despite whatever happens, the ship is together, the ship is together.”
