Pakistan dominated Afghanistan in the final of T20I Tri-Series 2025 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday (September 7) and gave a strong warning to India before the Asia Cup 2025 in 2025. Thanks to Mohammad Nawaz’s record-breaking spell, Pakistan scored Afghanistan 75 runs in Sharjah.
Mohammad Nawaz distributed his career-Best T20I performance, on Sunday, the T20I-Tri-series 2025 trophy took five wickets for just 19 runs against Afghanistan to help men in Green. Chasing a target of 142, the Afghan side fell to only 66 runs in 15.5 overs on the spinning pitch.

Mohammad Nawaz T20I was the chief architect of Afghanistan’s fall in the T20i Tri-Series 2025, and his hat-trick was the main attraction of the match in Sharjah. In the 6th over, the left -arm spinner rejected Darwish Rasoli and Azmatullah Omrajai on consecutive balls for a duck.

Then, in his next over, Mohammad Nawaz trapped Ibrahim Zadran for 9 off the first ball, completing his hat trick. After demolishing Afghanistan, Nawaz Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Hasanan became only the third Pakistani bowler to take a hat -trick in T20i cricket.
Speaking of a hat -trick, Nawaz had a slow, looping delivery that came around the middle and leg stump. Darwish Rasoli tried to play it across the line, but the ball hit his pad right in front of the stumps. The Pakistani bowler immediately appealed to confidence for LBW.
How did Mohammad Nawaz complete a hat -trick in Sharjah?
The umpire did not take time to raise his finger to exclude Rasoli LBW. There was some suspicion that if the ball was lined up, but the umpire ruled in favor of the bowler. Rasoli went back to the pavilion without opening his account after facing five balls.
Nawaz continued his fierce magic as he bowled a full delivery outside the stump, causing Azmatullah Omarjai to go for a cut shot. But Azmatullah got a big lead as he tried to play across the line, and the ball flew directly to Pakistan wicketkeeper, Mohammad Haris.
The sound of the edge was loud, and the umpire again raised his finger to give it out because Azmatullah was rejected for a golden duck. Then, in the 8th over, the 31 -year -old completed his hat trick. It was the first ball of the over and a hat -trick delivery for Nawaz.

Nawaz removed Ibrahim Zadran with a beauty
He performed a fast delivery, which lured Ibrahim Zadran to get out of his crease and play the ball. Zadran missed the ball, and it proceeded with his bat and wicketkeeper Haris gathered the ball and killed Bell before Zadran returned.
His back legs outside the crease were well, and he had to walk back to the dugout for just 9 runs off 15 balls. And thus Nawaz completed his record hat trick.

In the same over, he dismissed Karim Janat and then Rashid Khan to complete his five wickets against Afghanistan in Sharjah.
Along with this, Nawaz became the third bowler to run only the five wickets against Afghanistan in T20I after Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Asia Cup 2022) and Sam Curan (T20 World Cup 2022).
