The Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled for a major change as the organizers have allegedly replaced the match time to fight the UAE scorching heat. Originally, the Asia Cup 2025 matches were scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm local time in the United Arab Emirates, but now the organizers have extended the time.
Now, all matches will start from IST at 6:30 pm local time and at 8:00 pm, which will provide much relief from the extreme situations to both players and fans during the tournament. The step came after discussion about the player’s safety, as the temperature in the UAE has been unusually high.

To host Dubai 11 Games, Asia Cup 2025 including final
Meanwhile, the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 is set to kick on September 9, in which the Indian cricket team led by Suryakumar Yadav starts their campaign against UAE at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on 10 September.
But everyone is eyeing on 14 September, when Dubai will turn into a battlefield for India vs Pakistan, the mother of all clashes. Well, fans can withstand the staunch rivals up to three times if both teams move through Super 4 and in the finals of the Continental Tournament.
A total of 19 matches will be played in the tournament, including 11 games at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, including the final, while the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the rest of the matches. In this year’s edition, eight teams will be seen competing for the championship.

Asia Cup fights for pride as 8 teams in T20 format
The teams are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong, and they are divided into two groups. The top teams of the league phase will progress on the Super 4 stage. From there, the top two teams will play title clash in Dubai.
Group A features India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong have been slot in Group B. The tournament openers will be between Afghanistan and Hong Kong, China on 9 September.
Sri Lanka last picked up the Asia Cup Trophy in the T20 format in 2022, when they defeated Pakistan in the final. All the participating teams have already announced squads for the tournament, except for the UAE, host nation, but the BCCI is the original host of the tournament.
