Former national cricket team batsman Manoj Tiwari has made a shocking claim that the new Bronco Test introduced in Indian cricket is to throw Rohit Sharma out of the ODI setup.

Allegedly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has introduced the Bronco Test as a new fitness benchmark in Indian cricket on the arrival of Adrian Le Rukes and presented the Bronco Test as a strength and conditioning coach and under the guidance of the head coach Gautam Gamhir.

The Bronco Test will complement the existing Yo-Yo test and 2-kilometer time test to assess the fitness of the Test players, especially focus on endurance and heart health.
The test was originally designed for rugby players and includes shuttle runs over 20 meters, 40 meters and 60 meters. A set involves driving the distance of these three, then the player repeats the set five times in a row, with no comfort at a total of 1,200 meters. Players who have completed the test in the shortest time will be considered the most eligible.
Meanwhile, Manoj Tiwary, in conversation with CricTracker, said that some players like Rohit Sharma have been brought very difficult to exclude Bronco Tests, which the Gautam Gambhir-de-stamped team does not want in the team management team.

In the same conversation, Manoj Tiwari launched an attack on the BCCI to choose Jaspreet Bumrah for a five -match series against England, despite knowing that he would not play all matches.
Manoj Tiwari said that Bumrah should not be allowed to take and choose the match, because no one is bigger than the game. He said:
“If a player is not fit for a five-testing series, when you already know, obviously you won’t choose that person. Why will you not choose that person? Because no one is bigger than the game of cricket.”
